WHAT TO DRINK

MOËT & CHANDON Brut Impérial, Pharrell Williams Limited Edition, Jeroboam (3L)

See that little embroidered insignia in the middle of that most fabulous bow tie? It’s a P! And a W! For the man, no other than himself, Pharrell Williams, creative chameleon extra-ordinaire.

Inside the Pharrell-designed beauty is Moet & Chandon Brut Impérial, the storied champagne house’s most universal blend, consistently balanced regardless of each year’s variable harvest.

Dapper this bottle is, indeed, with a detachable bow tie hand-embroidered with over 7000 decorative pearls by Atelier Baqué Molinié, Haute Couture’s go-to French artists for special embroidery projects of the most elaborate order. Decorative painter Astrid de Chaillé also hand painted the label or, rather, non-label.

At $30,000, it’s a last-minute fashion accessory, party centerpiece (a most mega-generous host or hostess gift) and agreeable libation all at once.

“I got the Rollie on my arm, and I’m pouring Chandon…” Pharrell once rapped with Snoop.
